מונה חן טוב - אמנית, ילידת הארץ 1969. 
חיה ויוצרת בהרצליה.

המצע הציורי של מונה חן טוב הוא הנייר הלבן, הפורמט האינטימי קטן הממדים המשמש עבורה לבריאת היצירה הייחודית שלה.

מונה דמות ססגונית, אמנית אוטודידקטית, עסקה בעבר בעיצוב בגדים בשילוב קעקועים רקומים.
הקעקוע - שרטוט הנעשה בעזרת דיו או בחומרי צבע אחרים, הוא מקור חיבתה אל הקו הדק היוצר ומצייר עולמות ומאפשר גם את כניסתו של הצבע.

בתערוכה זו מונה משתמשת בשרטוט קווים אינסופיים, מתעגלים ומתעקלים, בחזרתיות וכמעט באובססיביות היא משרטטת שבילי קווים מקבילים, כאשר אוסף הקווים יוצרים תנועה משל עצמם, ההופכים לעיטור, לצורות גיאומטריות, לנופי גן קסום, לבעלי חיים, לעלים ולגלקסיות רחוקות.

Mona Chen Tov – An artist, Israeli born, 1969.
Lives and creates in Herzliya.

Mona Chen Tov’s artistic platform is the white paper, the small intimate format that she uses for creating her unique creation.

Mona is a colorful figure, an autodidactic artist who has worked before in designing clothes with embroidered tattoos. The tattoo a drawing made with ink or other color materials, is the source of her affection for the thin line that creates and draws worlds and allows also for the entering of color.

In this exhibition Mona uses infinite, rounding and twisting lines. Repetitively and almost obsessively she draws trails of parallel lines, when the collection of lines creates its own movement and turn into a decoration, geometric shapes, magical garden landscapes, animals, leaves and faraway galaxies.
